This summer I have been enjoying the ease of making sandwiches to eat I tried a burger press on top of a sandwich in a skillet, which worked decent but not as pretty as seeing grilled lines on toast. Decided to splurge on a grill pan since both griddles were not very good choices to use for a quick sandwich.
The contenders were either Tramontina or Marquette Castings. Le Creuset on sale was still 3x my budget for these things. After comparing product images online for both Tramontina and Marquette Castings I went with the latter.
The lid looked much bigger (great if I wanted to make 4 sandwiches at once) and the grill lines look deep and went all the way to the edge. I got it in shipwreck navy even though the red one on Nick Stellino's stove top looks really nice.
