Over the weekend, I purchased collard greens for 79c/lb at the 24 hr Fresh Grocert. Never had this vegetable before in my life and wanted to taste it ever since hearing the Ying Yang Twins song, "Collard Greens".
I searched online for directions cooking this up and found several helpful videos and articles.
It turned out quite edible (boiled with onions in pork broth), but sooo tasty with oyster sauce. mmm-mm! wonder if there are any asians in the south who cook up southern food in an asian way...
